Vestibular Rehabilitation

Certified Hand Therapists (CHT)

Our certified hand therapists (CHT) specialize in the evaluation and treatment of the hand following injury, surgery, or trauma. They are experienced in the fabrication of custom splints to protect, rehabilitate and prevent hand and upper extremity injuries.

Women’s Health – Pregnancy and Postpartum Disorders

Changes occurring to a woman’s body during the childbearing year challenge the stability and mobility of a woman’s physical structure. Our certified practitioners create a customized program designed to assist patients in dealing with their pain and return to a normal and healthy lifestyle.

Vibration Therapy

Research has proven vibration therapy improves circulation, strength, endurance, stability and flexibility, without the constraints of regular exercise. Our facilities utilize a whole body vibration system in conjunction with traditional physical therapy modalities to help patients return to their prior level of activity in a shorter period of time.

McKenzie Method

The McKenzie Treatment Method is a unique and extremely effective method of assessing and treating injuries of the spine and extremities. Vitaris has Physical Therapists trained in this treatment approach.

Kinesio Taping

Kinesio taping is a method gaining tremendous acceptance to help correct muscle function, improve circulation of blood/lymph, relieving pain, and repositioning the subluxed joint. It is used for both support and rehabilitating muscles. Our therapists are trained in Kinesio taping for both spinal and extremity conditions.

TMJ Therapy

Vitaris therapists are trained in the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) dysfunctions. Our therapists will evaluate a patient’s pain and dysfunction then develop a customized treatment plan consisting of manual therapy techniques and specific exercises.

InterX Therapy

InterX is a specialized electrical stimulation device effective in the treatment of pain and injury. It provides highly effective, non-invasive, non-drug pain relief with electrical stimulation treatment applications. InterX has been shown to decrease acute and chronic pain, reduce rehabilitation time, muscle spasm, and neuromuscular re-education.

Functional Reaction Trainer

This computer-based system improves muscle and mental agility while measuring performance. Its patented interactive system measures reaction time, acceleration, speed, power and balance.

Golf Performance

Our golf performance program is geared toward enhancing physical performance specific to the game of golf for all ability levels. It focuses on improving a golfer’s posture, balance, flexibility, strength and power. These programs are customized to improve a golfer’s performance while decreasing chance of injury.

Muscular Robotic Therapy

Our unique equipment provides consistent computerized controlled of pressure therapy relieving the discomfort associated with a muscular disorder. Applying repeatable pressure to a muscle or group of muscles reduces lactic acid build up in tissues and restores normal blood flow. Muscular robotic therapy has been shown to decrease pain, increase flexibility, reduce stress, and improve athletic performance.

Pilates

Vitaris uses a combination of Pilate’s exercises and traditional physical therapy methods to identify and correct problematic postural and movement patterns that can cause you pain. We believe that you can feel better when you move better.

Acupuncture

Vitaris Rehabilitation works in conjunction with Licensed Acupuncturists within our facilities to provide patients with the opportunity to utilize acupuncture as an adjunct treatment to traditional physical therapy.
